just checking for the origin of "De Ridder" city, my family "De Ridder" from Belgium, seems to have a founder father in your place. want to know more about it. it could be one of my grand father Josephus De Ridder's brothers (1873-1945) a family of 14 children. can you tell me more about your history. The name De Ridder (meaning the rider-chevalier) first appears in the years 1200 with one of the crusades to the holy land.
thanks for your reply
